In this study, we demonstrate the sensitivity of U-shaped with the different resolutions of Glucose and Mercury Chloride (HgCl2). We also indicate the process of fabricating a Microfluidics system by using CO2 laser with Poly Methyl Methacrylate (PMMA) as material. According to the experiments, the sensor can be used to evaluate the concentrations of Glucose and HgCl2. While the shift of resonance wavelength raised with the increase of Glucose Concentration from 5% to 50% with R2=0.95, there is a fluctuation in the shift of resonance wavelength with HgCl2 Concentration from 5 ppm to 50 ppm. Especially with transmission loss, Glucose, and HgCl2 witness the same phenomenon when the transmission loss goes up simultaneously with the increase of concentration, with R2=0.86 for Glucose and R2=0.78 for HgCl2. Finally, we manufacture successfully the Microfluidics system with the dimensions including depth: 0.3 mm and width: 0.2 mm. By mixing Glucose 0% and 50%, it leads to the conclusion that the Microfluidics system works appropriately.
